I think we will do the outline again this quarter for Word I?  I am not sure yet, but Karen was saying something about the dates not matching the activities for the Winter quarter. We will see.

Welcome to our new students!  Just a little reminder, make sure you bring all your learning tools when you come to class. Bring your book, a writing pad for lectures, a USB disk for saving your work, and most of all, a good attitude in learning. First day of class is overwhelming for everyone, but we can make it a little easier to adapt to our learning environment if you are ready to take on tasks and responsibilities that will be assigned to you.

Also please get to know the people around you especially your Program Directors and your instructors.  If you need help with your classes and schedules, please stop by the front desk and our receptionist will direct you to the right person to talk to.

I hope your stay at Stautzenberger College will be a good one.

Now go to class and learn something…. 

For my Business Math classes, please remember that we are finishing one chapter per week. So please make sure that you log on and do your assignments before the quiz for that particular chapter.

It is your responsibility to catch up with what we are doing in class. You were given an outline to follow, so please finish the requirements based on that outline. Thank you.

Password is so personal, that is why it is called password. So please class, remember what you put in all of your accounts. Or I have to bug the helpdesk in resetting your passwords.

Hello Everyone

Well, my first response to my first post was a junk mail, hahaha.  Anyway, this is the third week of our quarter and so far everything is going smoothly.  My students seemed to grasp the lectures/discussions quite well.  They are doing all the required assignments for the class especially the CDP120 students.  I do hope it stays this way.  The Simnet lessons were posted and I gave them extra time for the Computer Essentials lesson because of the delay of the Simnet cards.  But that was already taken care of and now they are all able to log on and do their assignments.

This is the start of our new quarter and I was happy to see familiar faces in the meeting today and also old faces that I have known through the years. Welcome everybody! Nothing much to say here and no upload for students because I have yet to polish all my activities forstudents this quarter.  However, to all my CDP co-instructors, stand by because I might have a few comparisons with you regarding our outline activities.
